In a distinguished theatrical career in the U.S., Ireland and England, she has played such diverse roles as Eliza opposite Rex Harrison in the 25th anniversary tour of My Fair Lady; Rita opposite Milo O’Shea and Brian Bedford in Educating Rita; Maria in The Sound of Music. As a musical performer, Kitty has appeared with The Chieftains at Carnegie Hall.

Kitty’s solo show, Ireland Once Upon a Time, debuted at New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The program of harp, verse, song and storytelling, was enthusiastically received and led to an invitation to perform before the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese.

Internationally renowned musician, Sir James Galway, writes about the CD from this show: “The choice of repertoire is unique, and made all the more so by [Kitty’s] introduction to each song… A record that brings Ireland, and all that makes our fair island so special, straight into the home of the listener. You truly touched my soul with this beautiful recording.”
